The 2014 Sierra is radically redesigned and features redesigned engines and body combinations. The Sierra features the traditional regular and crew cab models, as well as the extended cab models (with front hinge doors for the first time). The 4.3L V6 now features 285hp with 305lb ft. of torque, while the 5.3L V8 boasts 355hp and 383lb. ft. of torque. The range-topping 6.2L V8 is available on SLT models. A 6 speed automatic transmission connects to all engine choices and body configurations. The Sierra 1500 features Base, SLE and SLT trim levels, with a Denali trim level at the top. Regular cabs are offered with 6.5 foot or 8 foot beds, while Extended cabs are offered with the 6.5 foot bed. The Crew cab models feature either a 5.75 short bed or 6.5 foot bed. Base Sierra models come well-equipped with standard 17 inch wheels, chrome bumpers, air conditioning, power windows and door locks, cloth upholstery, and an AM-FM radio with 4 inch color display. The SLE trim features tinted windows, LED cargo box lighting, power and heated mirrors, keyless entry, a rearview camera, leather wrapped steering wheel with audo controls and Intellilink. The luxurious SLT trim features 18 inch alloy wheels, remote start, trailer package, rear window defrost, power adjustable pedals, dual zone climate controls, leather upholstery with heated eight way power driver and passenger front seats with driver memory. The Z71 off road package is available on both SLE and SLT models. The new 2014 Sierra features functionality from the base model all the way to the Denali model, and offer the ability to customize a vehicle that suits an owners needs perfectly.
