Also, hardened valve seals, high torque starter and all new aluminum exhaust. The engine has the original cast iron headers which is rare. It has a new Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor. This classic also has a Petronix ignition and an electric auxiliary fan.The transmission and drivetrain are also original. The red interior is the only choice for this black beauty and it has been restored with new seat covers NOS and new carpeting. The dashboard is expansive with gauges and also has a set of full gauges and Sun tachometer by the console. The radio is rare-it is the original AM-FM radio delivered with the car. All the brakes are new as well as the brake shoes, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and brakes lines. All done this past winter. The finish is excellent and all the doors hang properly and along with the hood and the trunk are gap correct. The front and rear bumper guards are new NOS. The current owner has owned this classic for 17 years and prior to him that owner owned it for over twenty years. All-in-all this classic had just three owners. Not only that but the 65,000 miles that show up on the speedometer are the ACTUAL miles this car was driven!!!! This Galaxie even has the original owners manual and jack.
