2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 450 SL

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a modified version of the Lancer, built for the compact sports sedan enthusiast. It showcases dynamic handling, performance-oriented technologies and more aggressive styling. The all-wheel drive Lancer Evolution is offered in two trim levels: GSR and MR. Both are powered by a muscular 291-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine; the GSR gets a five-speed manual transmission, while the MR is paired to a six-speed Twin-Clutch Sportronic Shift transmission (TC-SST) with manual mode and paddle shifters. The GSR's performance credentials are characterized by a large rear wing spoiler, sport-tuned suspension, Brembo disc brakes and 18-inch aluminum wheels with performance tires, while the MR is further outfitted with Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks and exclusive forged aluminum wheels.
