The H2 delivers stellar off-road performance and head-turning style but has dismal fuel economy, even for a large SUV.

Edmunds calls the H2 'an image vehicle, pure and simple.' The 2007 Hummer H2 is a head-turning full-size SUV with available seating for six, acceptable on-road performance and off-road chops that are hard to match. According to MSN, it's 'one of the best sport-utility vehicles ever sold by General Motors.' Still, most reviewers agree that other full-size SUVs offer more comfort and seating, as well as better fuel economy, at a lower price.

But it is the H2's style that continues to attract buyers. Kelley Blue Book says the 2007 Hummer H2 offers consumers a 'capable off-road mini-tank with enough visual appeal to satisfy the most egregious attention hound.' Edmunds sums it up by saying its 'head-turning sheetmetal and imposing girth promise attention at every turn ... If it's true that he who has the most toys wins, the H2 should probably be counted twice.'
