The diesel engine from Mercedes is a 2.8L Common Rail Turbo Diesel that puts out 160 horsepower but a staggering 295 ft/lbs of torque that will out pull and outperform the 3.7L OHC V6 engine in the fuel mileage department. This engine puts out 60 lb/ft torque than the 3.7L V6 engine!! Besides the 4 cylinder Diesel engine, it has a Low Range for True Off Roading unlike its competitors in its class. A Full Power Package is standard along with Cruise control and a Trip computer that will calculate all trip info like instant MPG, average MPG, elapsed time, and other data.
