The previous owner of this shuttle was a Medical Center, so you know it is has been properly taken care of. It is in excellent condition, it is very clean inside and out, and it runs great. The bus conversion is from StarTrans by Supreme. They are a leader in well-built, technologically advanced shuttle buses, and this 15 Person Senator Luxury Shuttle proves the point. This bus is flexible enough to allow you to transport all of your guests in comfort. Not only can it transport up to 12 passengers and a driver, it can accomodate two wheelchairs. It has a large, heavy-duty wheelchair lift from Ricon that is easily operated by a hand-held pendant at the access door on the side of the vehicle. Capacity of the lift is 800 lbs, and there are saftey interlocks that prevent improper operation. There are 2 sets of tie-down cleats and straps at the rear of the bus, next to the lift to secure the chairs. The Powerfull 5.4 Liter V8 engine starts fast, runs strong and has all the power you need to carry a full bus of passengers and their cargo. Its mated to an automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. There are dual rear wheels, and the tires are in good condition. The cabin is clean and roomy. It has comfortable vinyl seats for the driver and 12 passengers. There are vents above four of the large side windows. There is also a rear A-C unit and dome lights in the cabin. There is non-slip flooring down the center aisle of the bus. Up front, the driver has factory A-C, an AM-FM stereo, tilt wheel, cruise control and more. The bus also has a low idle control to prevent damage to the motor while idling for long periods of time. Safety features include a driver's air bag, ABS, 4 emergency exits, a back-up beeper, a first aid kit, a fire extinguisher and a set of highway reflectors.
