The mid-size Montego sedan is Mercury's version of the Ford Five-Hundred. While the Montego shares that vehicle's platforms and power-trains, it offers slightly different styling cues. Its 200-horsepower 3.0-liter V-6 engine is on hand. A fully independent suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, a stiff body structure, and standard 18-inch wheels and tires are said to contribute to the car's ride and handling qualities. A long list of standard features and include heated power mirrors, dual-zone electronic climate control, a six-way power driver's seat, auto-dimming rear view mirror, a CD stereo, and a tilt steering wheel with remote audio controls.
