Nice little car, great on gas I just needed to get something bigger for work. Car gets a combined gas mileage of 28 mpg, nothing scientific, just reset the trip computer and then divide the miles by gallons used. Usually when the fuel light comes on its right around 280 miles with 10ish gallons of gas. Car has a new engine...well, engine was installed at 85,000 miles so it has less then 65,000 on the engine. The engine needed replacing because it had an issue from Nissan the didn't show up until after the warranty period was over. I have all paperwork showing that I paid the $3500 to have the engine installed. Engine had the butterfly plates removed while it was out, if you search "QR25 butterfly plates" you will see the issue that Nissan had. This car was my only form of transportation so I couldn't abuse it....I don't have Mom and Dad to bail me out if I did something stupid and I really couldn't explain to my boss that I couldn't come to work because blew up my engine being dumb. Most of the miles on the car are straight highway, commuting back and forth in Maryland and while house shopping coming from MD down here to look at houses. Car has a Cold air intake, the original radio didn't work so I replaced it with a Pioneer unit, I went back to the dealership and told them what happened and they offered me $250 in parts. Front brakes were replaced last year with DBA rotors and goodrich stainless steel lines front and rear. I got these from Tire Rack, rear brakes were replaced in Feb. and have an extra set of front pads. I'm having the car detailed inside and out this weekend and then it is going to sit right where it's at. It has a sliding sunroof but I have rarely used it, 6-speed manual transmission, has a helical limited slip transmission.....that means both wheels pull in the snow instead of one spinning and the other one sitting still. I also have a set of tire chains from when I lived in MD and was unsure of how the car would do in the snow, but this car does great in the snow and have never used them. So, any questions feel free to ask, I will entertain all reasonable offers.
