** CNG * BI-FUEL * 4WD ** This F-150 can run on gasoline or compressed natural gas! We have CNG cars, trucks & vans for sale!!This truck has been nicknamed "Go Green" by Honda Motorwerk's President, Chris Schneider. He and two other participants in the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival drove this bi-fuel 4x4 north to Ladysmith on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). The 1st 140 miles was on CNG and just north of Ladysmith, it automatically and smoothly transitioned to gasoline for the rest of the journey to Cable and back to La Crosse. Go Green was converted by the US Government to run on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG). It's original home was San Diego, California where CNG refueling is plentiful. When we got Go Green to La Crosse, we performed our normal inspection and reconditioning including a transmission flush. Since this is a 2004, we replaced the lower ball joints, both upper Pitman arms and both front hub and bearing assemblies. The EPA approved conversion that was done on this bi-fuel truck would currently run over $10,000. The tank has a 10 GGE (Gallon of Gasoline Equivalent) and is valid through February, 2019. Go Green has a 30 gallon fuel tank with its long bed and has a range of over 400 highway miles. With a full CNG and gasoline tanks, this truck has a total range of over 500 miles!Kwik Trip announced in November 2010 that it will be installing a CNG refueling system at 5th & Cass in Downtown La Crosse. Hopefully, that will occur before the snow flies in 2011. Next spring, they plan to install a massive commercial system in the La Crosse Industrial Park to power part of their commercial fleet and be available for the general public as well.Imagine, reducing your dependency on foreign oil by 100%. CNG refueling in Canada was approximately 1/3 the price of gasoline. Imagine your savings if the price is $1 less than gasoline. Start saving today by investing in Go Green!
