This is a 2003 Ford Mustang - SVT Cobra Convertible. It is one of only 2003 SVT 10th Anniversary models produced. This is # 628 of the anniversary models, and it is #4410 of the 5082 Cobras that came from the SVT shop in 2003 (403 red Cobra convertibles were built). We have ordered the build sheet and autheticity documentation from Ford's SVT department, and it will be included with the car. The Cobra was vastly improved for 2003, with multiple improvements including a cast iron block with stronger pistons and connecting rods - made necessary by the Eaton M112 roots-type Supercharger that helped the motor make 390 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. Other performance features included a new aluminum flywheel, Tremec T-516 six speed transmission and bigger calipers. This new, improved, meaner Cobra became known to many simply as The Terminator The stock Cobra came with all of the good options - leather seats, power driver's seat, MACH audio system with 6 CD changer, remote entry and more. The Limited Edition SVT 10th Anniversary Edition added special badging, red seat and door panel inserts, red calipers, and split 7 spoke anthracite wheels. So what's the best color for this car? RED, of course. And this one is very, very red. The paint shines like new, which is a phrase that could be used to describe the condition of the car as a whole. It is in PHENOMENAL shape inside and out. It is ready to enter shows and win. And it runs just as good as it looks. We can't imagine it could have run and drove any better the day it left the factory.
