Toyota Prius Hybrid, 2002. Gasoline and Electric engines. It is in very good condition, ...very clean inside. It has around 200,00 miles but has lots of miles left. Battery was replaced at 150,000 and is good for another 100,000 to 200,00 miles. It was serviced the first of April, 2012 by dealer. It gets 45 to 52 miles per gallon. It has been averaging around 45. This is a perfect little get around town car or a cheep get to work vehicle. The Toyota Prius Hybrid has two engines: One 4 cylinder engine powered by gasoline and an electric engine powered by batteries, It operates on either electricity or gasoline alone, or a combination of both. Gas engine only runs about half of the time so it can go 5,000 miles between oil changes. When the Prius is stopped at red light or in traffic, both engines turn off. It is a quite ride with low maintenance.
