2001 Pontiac Firebird 4DR 2500 4WD BASE

This is one of the most unique Firebird Trans Ams ever produced. In 2001 Carl Black had commissioned only '50' Blackbirds to be built. There were '17' built in 2001 and '33' built in 2002 for a collective '50'. All Blackbirds started life as 380 HP. Then a handful of the cars went back to GMMG and had the Phase II package installed for approximately $9600. The actual window sticker was $49,610. This happens to be the lowest production # Phase II ever built. Car #1 is a 380hp. It is also the only 435 HP ever built in this color. The performance of this car is in fact quite impressive. Also the exhaust system is unlike most cars, this car has an incredible growl. Its bark matches its bite. Since the Pontiac Trans Am will never be built ever again (Pontiac will no longer exist after 2010) this is an opportunity for the Trans Am enthusiaist to own a truly one of a kind car.
