The Passenger side rear door opens and the ramp folds out automatically at the push of a button from the dash board or from the remote on the keychain. All of the straps are included to secure the chair and seatbelt the passenger. The passsenger front seat is easily removed and there are anchors there as well if you want to secure the chair in that positon. There are also a set of emergency ramps behind the back seat for use with the drivers side door in the event that the automatic door quits working. They appear to have never been used. The van rides very nicely and the engine and transmission run strong, A/C works perfectly. The tires are 80-90% new and there is a full size spare.
