1999 Mazda Protege LW2

Up for sale a 1999 Mazda Protege ES. 1.8 liter automatic trans. Asking $2k or best offer. , , I uploaded hi-res pictures see my links , Interior = http://www.use.com/3857af17272c59351925 , Interior 2 including guage cluster with the engine warm and revved to 5k = http://www.use.com/0e121615fd3df38453b9 , Exterior = http://www.use.com/07750de56b8b69b8533e , , The good=, realy nice interior with no tears or rips and no broken interior parts, air conditioner blows cold, heater and heater/air controls work, all window switches work, radio works, power door locks work, power mirrors work, wipers work, horn works, heater works, brakes are good, I did a panic stop in the rain and it stoped in a straight line as it should, drives straight when you let go of the wheel, engine runs good, transmition shifts through all the gears, all the doors, trunk and hood open and close properly, wheather seals are good (drove it in the rain), Headlight and marker lights work and are clear and haze free, all the glass is clear save for two small rock chips low on the driver side of the winshield, Cruise control works, rear window defroster works, No leaks of any kind. , , , The bad= , Damage to front and rear bumpers with touch up paint on rear bumper = mostly fixed but the body work is not that good. missing emblem on grill = mounting point for the grill is damaged on one side. missmatched tires with one tire and spare very worn. was salvage title in 1999. registration not current, about $400 due to get it registered in California, salvage title in 2009 looks to be from a rear end colision that was repaired, damage still evident if you look closely. rear motor mount needs to be replaced = I purchased this part and it will come with the car. missing original alloys = I have some aftermarket hubcaps that will go with the car if buyer wants them. some damage above drivers side window where someone tried to get the door open without the key. Took the car to smog and it passed the tail pipe test and visual test but not the functional test = It did not pass funtional because the battery died and there was not enough recorded sensor data on the PCM. I drove it 30 miles in an attempt to collect more data on the PCM and the check engine light came on, I had it checked and it came up as a weak catalytic converter. The code was cleared and I drove it another 30 miles and the light has not come back on but the PCM has not collected enough info to pass the funtion test (had it checked March 30th). The car will come with the paperwork from smog as well as the check engine light diagnosis. The oil and transmission fluid dip sticks indicate that they are a little over filled. , , This would make a great candidate for transfer to another state to avoid DMV fees and federal catalytic converters costs much less than a California compliant one. And it is a rust free California car. , , I will asist to the best of my ability and as my schedule allows if the car is purchased by out of state buyer. , , Those of you that have driven a protege know that it is a realy nice car and at about 105,000 miles the engine has a lot of miles left. This generation of Protege was one of the best, most reliable cars Mazda ever produced. The ES was the top of the line trim level. , , Car runs and drives as it is now. , I baught this car from a tow yard looking for a cheap daily driver but when I baught it I could'nt afford to pay the registration, the engine mount and insurance to get it going. I like the car but would prefer a manual transmission Car and since I have a better job now I am looking to sell this one. Car will come with lien sale paper work from a tow company in L.A. , , I have described the car to the best of my ability however the car has not been fully dissassembled or diagnosed so I can offer no further guarantees.
