This Dodge Viper, with only 13,657 actual miles, is a limited production, "back to basics", and exotic high performance automobile that has been meticulously maintained and properly cared for. Our example is a 1993 model which is the second year they were produced. Powered by a 488 c.i. 400 h.p. Chrysler V10 engine that has both an aluminum block and heads. The transmission is a fully synchronized Borg Warner six speed manual. Vipers were made for performance and were not heavily optioned. They came with power assisted rack and pinion steering, four wheel vented disc brakes, AM/FM stereo radio with cassette, removable top and side curtains, tonneau cover, and storage bags for the top and side curtains. The owners manual and related factory documents are included. Unique to the Viper are the wheels which have a cast aluminum face and are welded to spun aluminum rims. The engineers at Chrysler had as their primary goal to build a high performance automobile that would out perform any domestic made vehicle. Zero to sixty was accomplished in 4.5 seconds and zero to one hundred was around eleven seconds. At just 1,200 RPM's the torque was at 400 ft. lbs.
