Description: 1991 Mercedes SL500 convertible. Michigan clean/clear title, 106,247 actual miles. 5.0L V8, automatic, air, tilt, cruise. Full power everything. Power tilt & telescoping steering column, antenna, dual front power memory leather seats. Power convertible top, and removeable hard top. Electronic climate controls. Alloy rims, fog lamps, kenwood am fm cd stereo with flip up screen, dvd player, and external amplifier. Security system, anti-lock brakes, keyless entry, loaded. This car took a very light hit to the left front. It needs the left front fender (I have the lower skirting piece that is untouched), the front bumper, and the left front headlamp assembly. Both of the lower fog lamp assemblies that go into the front bumper cover are there. The right side appears to be fine, and the left side outer lamp cover lens is broken. Even the internal part of the left front broken headlamp is there in the trunk and appears to be good. Just the outer housing of that lamp is broken. The left side plastic rocker trim panel/skirting cover is broken on the front part of it. All of the structure appears to be good, and fully useable. All of the coolers, cooling fans, and radiator support are all good. Some idiot put the right lower fog lamp assembly that cannot be unplugged under the hood and closed it causing a small upward/outer ding in the middle right front hood. There is a 50 cent piece sized paint chip in the left corner of the rear bumper cover that could be brush touched up. That corner tail lamps outer plastic lens is also broken. There are a couple of very minor paint blister bubles just starting one on each of the lower rear quarter panels. There is some paint wear on the top rear quarter panels and rear sill panel where the hard top sits and wore the paint off. This is all hidden with the hard top on, but not hidden with it off. The hard top itself is in nice shape just for some reason the rear glass on both top corners has a crack in them. The convertible top looks to be brand new and is perfect. The interior is near mint, with just a small seam split in the passenger side rear upper bucket seat. This is on the back side inner corner of the seat. The car runs perfect, no issues, no leaks, all good air bags, and actually is still driveable. All four of the alloy rims have some oxidation marks in the outer lip finish of them. The worst one is the drivers front rim. This was a big buck vehicle in its day, and could be a very nice, easy fixer upper for some great summer fun next year. This car was definately somebodys baby, was winter stored, and well taken care of. Call me direct at (586) 336-3658 or email me for additional information.
