1989 Mercedes-Benz 560 SE Power Everything

Check out this absolutely beautiful 1989 Mercedes 560 SL. Just Toys Classic Cars is very proud to present this well preserved vehicle. If you wanted a fast, well handling, and great looking two seater to take to the country club or to your business meetings back in the day, this was they car to have. The original MSRP on this car was a little over $48,000. That is a good chunk of change for a car today. That was REALLY a good chunk of change for a car in 1989. There were plenty of improvements made to this model year over the others. This was the heaviest of all the model years 71-89, but was the fastest with a 0-60 in about 4 seconds and a top speed of 130 MPH. Not bad for a heavy two seater. This model year also received a new rear suspension and a limited-slip differential to better handle the added torque and power. Mercedes-Benz also added anti-lock brakes, leather upholstery, an alarm system, and an air bag. This really helped to justify the cars price tag of the day., , The interior of this car as you will see has been very well maintained. There are no rips or tears in the seats and everything works as it should. There are no cracks in the dash, or any of the wood in the car. The carpets look beautiful for the year and they are original. The A-C blows ice cold as well for those extremely hot summer days when you just dont want to put the top down., , Under the hood as we mentioned before is a 5.5 Liter V8 engine that puts out 227 HP and has all of the torque that you would want to go with it. The transmission shifts perfectly smooth just as it should for just that perfect Mercedes cruising ride. This car has been maintained at a Mercedes dealer its whole life so she has been well cared for., , As you will see in the pictures, we have both tops for the car and they are in fantastic shape. The hard top is easy to put on and take off with two people and locks down solid to the car with no leaks at all. The soft top is newer and was replaced by Mercedes. A dealership accidentally poked a hole in the original top so they replaced it at their cost, so this is not an aftermarket cheap top., , What else can we say about this beautiful car other than we cant wait for you to come down and see if for yourself and take it home with you.
