This Allante has spent its entire life in Santa Barbara, California, where it was purchased new. The car was owned by an elderly couple (the 1st owners) who recently stopped driving and the husband passed away shortly thereafter. It was their 3rd vehicle, hence the low mileage, under 22,000 miles. It was used as a go to the country club vehicle and nothing else. We are a franchise SAAB dealer that also specializes in Bentley, Bitter, BMW, Ferrari, Jaguar, Jensen, Lamborghini, Lexus, Lotus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Rolls-Royce, and Rover leasing, parts, sales, and service. We have been in business since 1973, a member of the Better Business Bureau, and have an AAA+ credit rating. When Alfa Romeo and Peugeot were selling in the United States, we were one of their dealers. We got our start as the expert in service of 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s Mercedes-Benz automobiles for South-Central Kansas and broke into a full-service organization. The daughter of the former owner, who is in the automotive business (wrecking and towing, and she has several nice automobiles) did not want the vehicle and we came across it, bought it, and had it shipped to us. It definitely looks and acts like a 1-owner vehicle, but it had a few issues, which we have had fixed. The car sat for a couple of years and the brakes, electrical, fluids, hoses, and transmission needed to be completely gone through. We did all of that and really didnt find any surprises. They claimed that the air blew cold, and it did not, but we fixed that. It was simply a Freon issue. We did some work on the compressor, but kept the original one. The paint was a little stale from sitting, but a good buffing and it looks showroom new. The tires were better than we would have thought and we are keeping them. Most of the cars did NOT come with a factory hard-top, and this one DOES The soft-top is perfect with no blemishes. The stereo is quirky They were never that great to start....
