1988 Lincoln Town Car ZR-2 Extended Cab

This is a wonderful, formal, traditional American luxury sedan. The exterior is well appointed (if not ornate) with chrome rocker panels, a large waterfall chrome grill, chrome bumpers, raised fender corners, a padded landeau top, chrome window surrounds, a chrome crown with integrated carriage lights, cornering lights, and large color coded “turbine style” alloy wheels. Inside, the interior is filled with soft velour, high pile carpeting, chrome, faux wood trim, and 13 courtesy lights. The 50/50 split front 6 way power front bench seats have pillow top padding and are as comfortable as a Lay-Z-Boy. The semi-automatic climate control system is easy to use with sliding controls and is capable of heating and cooling the interior of this large car quickly. Some more unusual amenities included are: automatic headlamps with a setable time delay, automatic high beams, power front wing windows, rear seat reading lamps, and rear footwell courtesy lamps. Sound damping in this, not so aerodynamic car, is wonderful providing a nearly silent ride at all speeds and over nearly any surface. Just an all round classy car.
