For the last few years it was driven rarely, most of the time it just sat in the garage. It was my Florida car. I own it since 1999.This car runs and drives extremely strong and solid. She's been always garaged, was not driven in winter and maintainence was done regularly with oil changes @ 3k/miles intervals. At 170k/mls, one would be worried about mechanical issues! Well, anybody who knows BMW's, and German cars in general, will tell you that this car still has a lot of life left! Plus, as things are, the true BMW guys consider the E30 series as 'The Last Classic Styled BMW'! It is save to say that the popularity of these cars will increase as these cars are disappearing in collectors garages! Of course, the power, handling and quality BMW cars & bikes are known for, should help the E30 cabrio to become valuable vintage automobiles. After all, the 325I Convertible is already considered to be 'modern classics'. In essence, a car with character, practicality and charm thats fun to drive and cheap to own!
