Don't let the boxy, truck-like exterior fool you, this is a muscle car underneath. With all the utility of a 1986 Chevy C10 pickup, it also includes an aluminum-headed small block, a sinister black paint job, and a ton of luxury equipment that make this truck an outstanding cruiser for the guy who has everything. Factory gauges are surprisingly complete but not entirely accurate, so a trio of aftermarket gauges, plus a tachometer, was mounted under the dash to keep an eye on the warmed-over small block up front. This truck also includes factory A/C that blows ice cold, cruise control, a tilt wheel, and a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo, so nobody can accuse it of going light on comfort. If you're expecting a 305 under the hood, you're going to be pleasantly surprised by the thumping 350 that's there now. With a set of aluminum heads, an Edelbrock high-rise intake, 4-barrel carburetor and a wonderful-sounding exhaust note, this is a pickup with the heart of a Camaro. Dressed in polished aluminum valve covers and a matching air cleaner, it is super sanitary under the hood, and everything works as it should, including the A/C, power steering and power brakes. Long-tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers provide that awesome soundtrack, and a 4-speed automatic transmission makes this truck both quick on the street and effortless on the highway. Dual gas tanks mean it can drive cross-country, and a set of Rally wheels have been dressed up with spinners and fat 275/60/15 white-letter radials.
