GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1979 Plymouth Volare Duster Pro-street for purchase. The Duster line ended after the 1976 model year, but continued as a rare trim package on the Volare in 1979 And 1980. Only 217 cars left the factory with the 360ci V8 with the Duster trim level making this a very rare breed, and this car is t-topped. , , This Duster was built to its current state to promote a new drag strip out in Nevada. It’s powered by a rebuilt 360ci V8 engine stroked to 416 paired with a 727 valve body transmission with a B And M shifter and line lock. It has a 8 ¾” narrowed rear end with 391 gears for a very “streetable” ride quality. It performs well on 93 octane gas and features a 12 gallon fuel cell in the trunk. This car also features Mickey Thompson tires, American Racing wheels, Pioneer CD player-radio, Pioneer speakers, a roll cage, power brakes, power steering, power brakes, and an upgraded suspension. This car is very low mileage on the body, and low miles since the work has been done. A fresh Sable Tan Sunfire metallic paint job has it looking as great as it runs. This is a great deal on a fresh high quality pro-street build. Please call or email for more details.
