1977 Volkswagen Vanagon Unknown

I am selling my 1977 VW Bus. It is not running right now. It needs a new battery and possibly other work. Although it ran perfectly when it was running. It has an automatic transmission. One of the back small windows fell out and needs to be put back into place. It has some rust areas (most of them are tiny spots); I fixed some, but I do not have time to work with it. All of the other rust spots have been sanded but not primed or painted yet. , , The interior looks pretty good. There is one back seat that folds down to a bed (there is a foam cushion in the way back). The seat is covered in black fabric and looks good (right now, we have a paisley print fabric over the seat). We put a rug on the floor in the back, but it is getting old and will need to be replaced or cleaned (if you choose to have carpet). There is a black mat to cover the floor, if you do not want carpet. The door panels will need to be fixed or replaced (they are peeling a little on the edges). There is a radio with a tape player. The previous owner put carpet on the walls. It does not look bad, but it can easily be replaced., , We purchased the bus in 2002 and had a new engine installed along with a new alternator. The fuel gauge did not work properly, so we had that fixed as well; but it still does not work. (the VW mechanic said that sometimes they can't be fixed...I don't know much about that)., , We are asking $3000 as is (to cover what we paid for the engine), but we will consider taking a reasonable offer., , Serious inquiries only please.
