1977 Porsche 911, rebuilt motor and trans with new clutch, Rust Free Survivor!! Body and Paint: This is a Rust Free Southern car, paint looks great and has a deep shine, only small chips in the paint which I took pictures of most. No real dings or dents to speak of, Underneath looks great with no signs of rust. Up front near spare tire looks great as do the suspension mounting points for the A arms. Very straight car, no signs of body damage or previous repair. Overall very solid considering the age of this vehicle. Glass looks good, no signs of cracks or hazing. Again only small chips around the doors and glass. Original Fuch polished wheels in excellent shape as you can see in the pics. Targa top is in good shape and is functional. Drivetrain: This is where this car shines. I was told by previous owner that motor and trans were refreshed about 1500 miles ago with a new clutch. The motor does look freshly rebuilt as you can see in the pics. I was told that the carrera tensioner upgrade was done at the time of rebuild. Motor runs beautifully, no smoke or funny noises, starts right up and has good compression. Transmisson is also great, shifts perfectly, synchros are all good, shift into 1st gear while doing 25mph with no problem. Would not be scared to drive car anywhere. Lots off money was spent on the drivetrain and it shows. Interior: Overall in decent shape, main negative is the drivers seat will need to be recovered, passenger seat is fine. Dash cover looks excellent as does the rest of the dash. I do have the face to the CD player although its not in the pics. Carpet looks original and is still in decent shape. Back seats are also in good shape. Again the drivers seat is the only thing that needs immediate attention. Rest of the interior looks pretty good with normal wear and tear here and there. I took several pics of everthing in the interior How it drives: The 911 is a blast to drive. All the signals and lights appear to be functioning
