Best Offer accepted! Very good, restorable classic Lincoln Mark V. I would conservatively grade it between a 4 ("good") and 5 ("restorable") according to Old Car Guide, with the body definitely a "4" and the mechanics between "4" and "5." Here's why..., , , , BODY/COSMETICS: The body is in good condition. It was originally Ziebarted and Poly Shelled. As you see from the pictures, there are a few surface rust points. There is no rust through; the undercarriage is just about much rust free (according to multiple mechanics I've had look at it). The drunk drop offs are sound. The interior is in between very good to excellent condition (not mint) - no rips, tears on the seats - except for the following: the dash pad. It is cracked in two places, vertically. The headliner is perfect - not sagging at all. The left front driver's door panel (velour) is in very good shape, but it has become unglued underneath, so it needs to be glued back down (below the door strap). The hood is missing the emblem; I purchased one but never put it on, but will include it free of charge. The boomerang/horn plastic is showing wear on the sides (common on these cars). The turbine wheels are in very good to excellent shape. The vinyl half top appears to be original and has no cracks, except one 1/4" crack on the driver's side. All glass is in excellent condition; the front windshield looks like it was replaced and whoever did it did a subpar job of sealing it, but it does not leak. Just doesn't look great. Panels are all straight, green pinstripe looks good on both side; may have had some areas touched up but not a full paint job, so most of the paint appears to be original., , , , MECHANICAL: This is the weaker part of the car. All power functions (seats, windows) work (the driver's door lock motor makes noise, but does not go up and down; passenger's does). The A/C turns on and the compressor works, but it needs a charge. The headlights and the vacuum door seem to work okay, sometimes they will pop up after about a week; but the "delay" lamp feature seems a bit funky - the parking lights will turn on even if it's bright out sometimes. I have not tested the cruise control. The wipers work fine. The clock keeps perfect time. Turn signals work fine. Transmission shifts fine. Brakes - they work fine, but you need extra effort to get the pedal all the way down; might be a master cylinder issue. Now the engine... Bottom line: If you want this car to run well, you may need to replace the engine because there is a miss. According to my mechanic "valves on cylinder 1, 2, 4 and 5 are not working properly, valve springs are weak causing valve to float back up." If you are handy or have the time/money to spend, this car definitely can be saved. It could be corrected with a valve job (according to my mechanic) or you can go all the way and drop in a new 460. The car currently blows whitish smoke - I'm told it's a combo of some coolant, rich, unburned fuel and some oil. However, the coolant level hasn't dropped much; neither has the oil (haven't even put a quart in). Also, the fuel gauge reads 1/2 full - doesn't move up or down, so it might have a bad fuel sending unit (or it could just need cleaning). I cannot verify the mileage as being 33,400 - it might be 133,400 - but based on the condition of cosmetics, and that the fact that an older gentleman drove it, I'm guessing it 33,000., , , , OPTIONS: I have the original window sticker.: 1/2 Dark Jade vinyl roof, 460 V8 Engine, Axle-Traction-Lok differential, Dual Exhaust, Illuminated entry system, headlamp convenience group, defroster group, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power driver and passenger seats, AM/FM stereo radio, intermittent wipers, Majestic Luxury Group, right hand remote mirror, power lock convenience group, power vent windows, turbine spoke wheels. 2 owners manuals included! , , , , CAR'S HISTORY: I believe I'm the second owner (I have a copy of the original title). The car was in indoor stora
