We are pleased to offer on consignment this Arizona and San Diego Porsche 914. This Porsche has been set up for daily use or autocross, with a higher output engine, four wheel disc brakes and performance suspension. This can take you to the office during the week and the track on weekends!The original white paint was resprayed well. The interior is all original and would benefit from replacement. But it is nice to see the condition as it conveys the overall age and use of the 914. The odometer shows over 60,000 miles but the seller dsnt know what the accurate mileage is on the Porsche (the engine has 2,000 miles since a total rebuild).The seller invested $4,200 to install a completely rebuilt 2.1 liter engine from GEX International in Florida. This is enhanced by Weber carburetors. He also installed headers for additional performance. The engine has about 2,000 miles since install and is fully documented with receipts, etc. The transmission remains the original 5-speed manual.The suspension is well set-up for autocross. It has coil overs front and rear as well as $3,000 invested to install adjustable front and rear sway bars.This also has high performance tires and two sets of spare wheels and tires. This Porsche has very limited rust being from the dryer climates. See photos for specifics.Included with the sale is an extra stereo and amplifier and all documentation and receipts. California registration is paid through 2012. The seller recommends that the new owner install an adapter for the aftermarket steering wheel since it impacts the otherwise functional high beams and horn.
