War Bonnet Yellow with saddle (tan) vinyl interior, odometer shows 27,000 miles, 4-speed, power steering (N40), power brakes (J50), rally wheels with four good white letter tires, removable rear window, 270 horsepower and 360 lb-ft of torque. This car is a terrific driver quality chrome bumper ’Vette with matching numbers (correct 3970010 block, Flint build on August 11, CJL suffix, and unmolested stamp pad), an older high quality repaint, correct interior except for Grant GT steering wheel and later model Corvette radio with cassette (first available on 1979 model), with beautiful dash, seats, and chrome. Correct 989 paint code and 417 trim code. Ride and drive is excellent, car accelerates, tracks, and brakes as it should. Engine bay is untouched and unrestored with original air cleaner and shielding in place, and is quite correct except for headers. This is an outstanding value for a nice chrome bumper ’Vette, but you already know that. A stunner, in our showroom, price of $18,000 is flexible, but is already aggressively priced in our opinion.
