1969 MG MGB Marlin

The MGA replaced the “T” series MG’s. The streamlined shape was a major departure for the firm as it featured envelope fenders rather that the wing fenders of the T’ series. The model was introduced with a 1,500 cc engine that was later updated to 1,588 cc and then again to 1622 cc. A version of the MGA was produced with a twin cam 1,588 motor was offered but proved problematic and discontinued after only 2,111 examples were produced. The MGA was extremely popular with around 100,000 examples produce during the 1955-1962 production run. MGAs were available in both roadster and coupe versions., , Our MGA is a 1600 (1588cc engine) model. It is unusually striking with rich black paint and soft red leather interior. It has a well documented history going back to 1978. It has been in South Florida for many years. It is in exceptional condition having been professionally restored about ten years ago.
