1967 Pontiac GTO Unknown

Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this '67 GTO Convertible. This is a PHS documented example showcasing a quality finish of the correct Regimental Red. Enjoy our presentation. Close inspection of the exterior will further confirm the quality condition of the body, sheetmetal, and finish. The paint is very good to excellent throughout. 1967 was the start of Pontiac's advertisement of the GTO as "The Great One" Gone was the infamous "Wide Track" advertising campaign. The potent "Tri-power" carburetors were now reserved for only the Corvette 427. The 400 c.i. V8 replaced the '66 model years 389 c.i. powerplant. The new 400 cubic engine was rated at 335 horsepower and offered up 10.75 compression. This car sports its original engine as confirmed by the engine stamping. The 4-speed manual transmission is an upgrade. This car was originally equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission. The original undercarriage appears to be very solid throughout. This is a very nice GTO ready to drive, show, and enjoy.
