1966 Plymouth Satellite Unknown

Stk. 1388 1966 Plymouth Satellite, , In 1965 Plymouth took its mid-size Belvedere line into outer space with the creation of the Satellite. It was the top level option on Chrysler's B platform cars and was a two-door hardtop (or convertible) with bucket seats. They became a big hit with car guys from the mid to late 60s and early 70s. Here we are in the twenty-first century and an extra nice early Satellite still creates a lot of attention and interest. Extra nice would be understating the condition and performance of this '66. In fact, the magazine MOPAR MUSCLE thought so much of this car, it has a featured article in the October 2008 issue. Performance wise this beauty has nothing to be ashamed of. The 318 ci engine was replaced under the hood by a fortified 360 ci which was left with the stock-stroke long arm (an Eagle replacement) but was bored .030 over. The exterior is in WW1 White paint (owner believes it to be original) and the light green interior looks like it did when it came out of the factory, thanks to Legendary Auto Interiors.
