1966 Ford Thunderbird Convertible 428 Q code for sale:, , Restored and in excellent condition. This T-Bird was restored in the mid 1990s and was owned by a Thunderbird Club President. The car has been pampered for almost 20 years and drives like a dream. While being restored the car was treated to some minor customizing with a carpeted trunk liner kit in red. The 428 engine runs perfect with only 67k original miles. This is a real 428 Q code motor. The carburetor was rebuilt about 300 miles ago. This is a single four barrel with the custom oval air breather. The original air breather as comes with the car. This is a highly optioned car and has almost every option to include the following:, , 428 Q code Engine, Air Conditioning, Power Windows including power vent windows, Reclining passenger seat, Six way power driver seat, Power front disc brakes, Power top with upgrade relays and switches - remote control of top!, Tilt away steering wheel, Remote driver mirror, Factory AM/FM radio, Power antenna, Wire Wheels including spare, Fender Skirts - have non fender skirt trim also, Power door locks, Tonneau cover - makes the car look like a two seater, , The rear sequential turn signals have been converted to modern electronic units. The power top has also been completely gone through and converted to a modern relay system. The top also has the latest in custom installation of a remote control. This remote in no way interferes with the normal operation, but allows the top to be raised or lowered without just sitting in the car! Very cool. The fender skirts can be removed and I have the chrome wheel lip moldings to match the front lip moldings. These moldings are 1966 only and are almost impossible to find and I have them NOS in the box. I have driven many T-Birds and this one drives beautifully. The paint is beautiful and shines like you see in the pictures. This is the nicest 66 convertible around.
