1964 Mercury Montclair 2WD Premium Special Edition

Super nice and mostly original car with excellent body and 90% original paint. Rust free and very well preserved through the years. Extra clean body lines, very straight and very little patina showing anywhere on this car. Partially restored interior and engine, engine compartment. Only light cosmetic freshening required. Never worn out or in need of major restoration ever. The rear window on these old Montclairs are power windows that the driver can control with a switch on the dash. Known in the old days for kids being able to slide out the window, sit on the rear deck and lean forward over the roof. Sort of like sticking your head out the sunroof in a limo. Its most likely illegal to even let this thought cross your mind now-a-days, let alone even try it. (dont!) The paint is in very presentable condition and shiny. We received the car with all original paint but are fixing a couple of scratches and blemishes as we speak. Should be finished by late June. The interior is excellent. the trunk also extremely clean, all original clean, rust free floors and trunk, rockers, 1-4s and fenders. Nice glass, very good chrome and bright work and loo at the engine. looks like new. Great running and driving car. Great for taking friends out or the family to a car show.
