A very unique street cruiser that has participated in two Power Cruises. This 1960 Chevrolet Impala two door hard top has been given a complete custom restoration resulting in a stunning show car. It is powered by a 1964 327ci Corvette engine that has been mildly modified with a performance cam shaft, Holley aluminum intake manifold with a Holley 600 cfm carburetor mated to it and a full out the rear Turbo exhaust system. This engine is coupled to an automatic Powerglide transmission and the rear end is the factory original. The engine has been given chrome valve covers and air cleaner to enhance its appearance. The body has been finished in custom Yellow Pearl with a White top. Totally redone interior including the seats, door and kick panels, sun visors and headliner are all done in a high quality durable White vinyl material. The carpet has been replaced in Gray nylon. The chassis and related components have been modified with power front disc/drum rear brakes, Hotchkis suspension modifications, dropped springs six inches in the front and four inches in the rear. The complete undercarriage has been cleaned and painted Black and is virtually rust free. The chrome plating and stainless trim are in good condition and nicely compliment the overall look of this customized Chevrolet. Further equipment include power steering, factory original AM radio and Torque Thrust five spoke aluminum wheels with black wall tires. The perfect car for reliable long distance touring, car shows and local cruising. This is not a typical street rod as it is definitely one of a kind and is an attention getter wherever it is shown.
