283 V8, White with a Light Blue interior and Black top (the original colors), it also includes the original hardtop...a two top car. It is powered by the 283ci/230hp 4bbl V8 with a 4-speed manual transmission. Only 15,000 miles since restoration. This car's history includes that it was purchased at Cal Wible Chevrolet in Medina, Ohio in 1962 by David A Dickinson and was used by the Dickinson family as a second car up to 1973. At that time it was taken out of service and given to Bob Ruth for a frame-off restoration, which was completed in 1992. The car since has won many regional awards at area car shows. After Mr. Dickenson passed away in 2000 his widow has kept the car in the family since and is now being offered. 1958 Corvettes have many unique features compared to '59's and command a special following and a premium. This is a true opportunity to buy a two owner '58. Note: This appears to be about as good of a 1958 Corvette as exists, however, if you are obsessed with matching numbers from engines, to trans, to differential to lug nuts, please hire your own inspector to come and inspect such things to the level you desire.
