The color reaches out to its surroundings, giving everything a very rich red. , , For many, the 57 Thunderbird is a favorite, with its more pronounced fins that were a part of the 1950s automotive landscape. The body is incredibly straight, beautiful styled, comfortable, and with enough performance to keep almost any gearhead happy. , , They are ideal hobby cars that can keep up with modern traffic with ease. Chrome and brightwork are dazzling, from the eggcrate grille up front to the unique rear bumper with the exhaust ports in the bumper. As seen on the license plate, the owner of this Thunderbird purchased the car in 1999 from the very well known Thunderbirds 55-57 which is the very well know company owned by Amos Minter, the guru of the Baby Birds. , , Carried away by Coker Classic wide whitewall radial and inside there is the set of chrome wire wheels with its Thunderbird name all over. The owner has kept this 57 well maintained and in excellent condition. The interior is a white on white going perfectly with the red exterior. The white hard top and soft top combine so well with the red body to give it a beautiful contrasting look., , Having that spectacular look that makes people stop in their tracks when they see this amazing car. Everything inside is finished to show standards. Including the gorgeous door panels, exceptional steering wheel, and precisely detailed gauges. , , For an extra kick its owner added A-C for those states where the heat may be too much to handle. A custom autosound was added to the car as well and besides these two things, there are no updates or any more modification to keep this car as original as it can be. , , A floor shifter is in place with a two speed automatic transmission on top of a red carpet. Floor mats are in place for all of the seats including those in the rear of the car. The spare tire moved back into the trunk for 1957, and this one is neatly finished with a correct reproduction mat and full sized spare tire.
