1957 Ford Thunderbird SS Supercharged 5-speed

These days builders are making Hot Rods out of just about anything. You rarely see a Thunderbird that is restored like this over the top, full blown RestoMod. This car is the definition of a fully restored yet modernized Street Rod. The rock solid body was designed and fabricated by Terry Palmer, a Grand National Roadster Show, and Ridler Award winning fabricator. It is covered in House of Colors Vibrant Red, buffed to a show quality shine. All of the trim, chrome, and glass are outstanding. The matching Porthole top is excellent. It rides on a completely custom chassis built with Corvette C-4 front and rear suspension, sway bars, and large diameter 4 wheel disc brakes. It has all the necessary hardware to provide excellent handling. The one off custom 17 inch wheels were made strictly for this car. Power comes from a 32 valve, electronic fuel injected, V-8 from a Lincoln Mark VIII, backed by a Tremec 5-Speed transmission. It feeds the independent rear end via a custom aluminum drive shaft. The excecution of the chassis and the power train is so smooth it almost looks like it has always been there. One give away is the custom ceramic coated headers exiting from Borla side exhaust. It sound terrific! It has a special Mercedes Benz radiator to keep the motor cool and a custom heat-air system to keep you cool. The custom stitched tan leather interior is immaculate and looks like it came out of a 2013 model car. Even the steering wheel is custom made including an original T-Bird horn. The carpet is the famous Mercedes Benz square weave that runs all the way though the cabin into the custom power operated trunk. This car also sports power windows, power seats, and a security system. A special sound system was designed to let you enjoy your favorite tunes.
