1954 MERCURY Monterey with Continental Kit 256 V8 Engine runs smooth 65,686 miles, First year with the Overhead Valve Engine. Original 6 Volt Possitive Ground System Power Brakes Power Steering Two-Tone paint red and black Fender Skirts 2 Working Spotlights on Doors . 6 Volt Generator just rebuilt Lights and blinkers work Wide Whitewalls on 15 rims Chrome on bumpers and moldings look real nice Floor is solid, Trunk floor solid no rust through Lake pipes are for show they are not hooked up (very easy to remove) chrome looks good. Repainted, Older paint job, looks good but has some chips here and there. Overall it looks like a small amount of body work done. Has some paint cracking and flaking by rear wheel, passenger side. The car has been lowered in the rear by adding 2 blocks between axle and leaf spring, This pushes the wheel up inside the wheel well, Looks Cool. There is a 12V am/fm cassette mounted under dash, it works off a battery in trunk. Glass: All 8 pieces of glass look Great, One rollup the Drivers side back seat has a little ding the size of a dime, only on outside plate, hardly noticeable. More photos to follow.
