1951 Packard Patrician 4dr Hybrid Sdn Sedan

The 400 Patrician sedan was a new designation for 1951 and was Packard’s top of the line model - offered only as a sedan in this trim level. With 9000 Patricians produced in 1951 there are less than 30 of these cars registered in the national Packard club registry. Being represented as mileage exempt but believed to be 14,500 pampered original miles put on this car. All original exterior and interior down to the Wilton wool carpet. Engine and truck detailed like new. Purchased new in wheeling, WV in May 1951 by a proverbial little old lady who only drove the car a total of 1300 miles in the first six years. The car later changed hands to two different Ohio owners, and in 2001 went to a California owner who had it cosmetically and mechanically refreshed. This Packard has to be the most heavily optioned '51 including Cloisonné center hubcaps (discontinued mid model year), power antenna, Wonderbar Radio, heater, accessory Packard script spotlight, rear window wiper, rear window defogger, rear package shelf radio speaker, external Packard sun visor w/Guide traffic finder, period correct seat covers (over perfect upholstery), external spare tire inflation hose, Packard script trouble lamp (plugs into cigarette lighter), windwing rain deflectors, Carter Fuel Filter, Packard script radiator bug screen, Patrician rear seat footrest, roberail and the rarest of them all - the underhood lamp!
