1949 Ford Custom Unknown

This very original, almost entirely rust-free 1949 Ford Custom coupe is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. The car has its original dash, radio, clock, interior, books and floors. The original engine was rebuilt a few thousand miles ago and the car was repainted in its original color about 20 years ago according to the previous owner. This was the first redesign of a Ford after the end of World War II and featured some new design innovations in suspension and styling that stood out from earlier Ford models. Its 100hp engine is controlled through a three-speed manual transmission. Shifter is on the steering column. Actual miles are just over 53,000. Two very small rust bubbles are showing... one less than a quarter inch on the left fender and one less than 3/8 inch on the right fender. Rust is not showing through the paint and the car does not have ANY bondo. Car rides and drives with no problems. Chrome is in excellent condition. This car is totally drivable and won't take much to be an absolute show-stopper.
