Serious inquiries ONLY! This Norwood plant, 1 of 4889 built Camaro SS-396 is a 3 owner very original car that has been kept in pristine condition. All body panels are original and has never had any rust. It has been repainted the original color of code 51 Dusk Blue. It is accented with code A white top, white "hockey stick" SS stripe, and 711 standard black bucket seat interior. This real L-78/X66 396 Camaro has the original engine with casting number 3955272 with date code D89 (April 8, 1969). It also has the correct trans (19N6 M21), axle (BS051), and chambered exhaust (N-C8). The exhaust sounds like the side pipes on a Corvette! A real powerful rumble. We have the original window sticker which has a list of options that break down like this: Soft-Ray tinted glass, floor mats, power top, center console, air spoiler, posi-traction axle 331 ratio, heavy-duty battery, AM push-button radio, heavy duty radiator, Rally wheels, special ducted hood, SS equipment, black vinyl trim, and the for-mentioned Dusk Blue paint. The SS equipment included the hood, sport mirror, wide-oval tires, and special chassis components. AS far as we can tell this car is about as correct as you will ever find and a truly authentic investment grade Camaro. It is mechanically and cosmetically sound and is a great looking SS. It runs, rides, and drives fantastic too. The shifter has a very smooth action. Hard to believe this car made it all these years without multiple modification like most of the Camaros you see on the market today. It is a high end Super Sport but is ready to show, drive, and enjoy so make it yours today. Financing, insurance, and delivery are available.
