With only 604 miles since completion, this RestoMod Mustang Fastback is an awesome car. It was meticulously built with attention to detail and obviously not much concern about cost. It has all the goodies I have ever seen on a Mustang and some things I have not yet. Mustangs started the RestoMod revolution back in the eighties and has not let up at all. In fact we see more of them today than ever. The paint, body, interior, chassis, and especially the motor compartment are top of the line show quality to the max. First the body has a custom Shelby inspired hood, flat black LeMans stripes, awesome Burnt Orange paint, excellent trim, and chrome. Some restraint was used in that no spoilers or side scoops were added. Kinda refreshing on a Mustang. Power comes from a Keith Craft built 450 horsepower 347 Stroker V-8 with an aluminum intake and AFR alloy heads, 4 barrel carburetor, long tube headers, electronic ignition, and lots of dress up items. An expensive fully polished front runner system was installed with everything set up to work off a serpentine system including Vintage AC. The front runner system does perform well cutting down on noise, vibration, and harshness. The chassis is terrific with a modified Mustang II front suspension, rack And pinon power assisted steering, gas shocks, urethane bushings throughout, and a Currie 9 inch rear end with 4.11 gears. Those gears work well with the 5 speed manual transmission. It rides on 17 Inch Eleanor style wheels like you have seen on many Mustangs these days. They are wrapped with P245-40ZR17 Falken high performance tires. A full set of high performance cross drilled Baer brakes were installed on all 4 corners. Baer brakes are some of the best you can buy. The immaculate interior is quite unique. It features custom painted hard trim and black leather soft trim throughout. It also has custom articulated, reclining bucket seats, DVD-CD stereo system, a full set of custom gauges, custom console, Shelby style wood steering wheel, deluxe pedal trim, and billet shifter.
